One of the most memorable images I have of the spring/summer collections (reminder: IT'S STILL FEBRUARY) is Proenza Schouler's bright prints. Bright prints are refreshing to me because I don't often wear them, but I admire them. So I was happy to see more prints in their fall collection, just (slightly) more subdued in plaids and distorted plaids (apparently, the designers took photocopies of plaids and jiggled the fabrics on the copier's plate glass to create this). I also got a bit of a schoolgirl vibe with the skirts/baby doll dresses worn with thigh highs, just very sophisticated and leggy schoolgirls...
